I'm still of the opinion that nothing in the Epstein Files is going to change a damn thing. Look, Megyn Kelly is out here getting pedantic about the term "pedophile" and the right wing is predictably finding fault with the messengers. Even if the files contain something damning -- which I still doubt -- what's going to happen? No one has the political courage to touch this. They just don't. I'd love to be proven wrong, but the past decade or so hasn't given me hope. Trump was convicted of penetrating a woman without her consent but that didn't even slow down his reelection. Which did, by the way, give him a platform to attempt to get even that small measure of justice overturned by his lackeys on the Supreme Court.
