Cow: Lots of people reported that the text of the Constitution displayed on the website of Congress had had some important parts removed, including habeas corpus and text about militias and states' rights. Cow: It's been fixed now and the Library of Congress says this was due to a "coding error" but I have to wonder what kind of coding error wipes out specific parts of a document which isn't changing. Cow: Unless...it is changing.... Meanie: Stay tuned for more improvements!

It seems that the website of Congress did "lose" parts of the Constitution. As an IT guy I've certainly made errors like that but not usually involving static documents which are part of the fabric of the entire federal government of the most powerful nation on Earth. Just sayin'.

After approximately everyone in the world noticed and had already assumed this was yet another envelope-pushing stunt by the Trump regime, the Library of Congress put the missing pieces of text back, for which they're to be commended, I guess. At least they didn't try to pretend it's always looked like that. "No, honey, that dress doesn't make your fascism look big!"
