Some people pay with their lives for misdemeanors, or for nothing, while others are convicted of felonies but see no consequences at all. Godiva: It's convenient for the Supreme Court that they could rule against Trump without hurting him or his administration in any way. Now John Roberts can always point to this and say, "See? Donald Trump is now a convicted felon, for whatever comfort that holds. Thanks, Judge Merchan, for deciding that "neither the public interest nor the ends of justice would be served by a sentence of imprisonment". I think a lot of Americans would have been very interested in seeing Trump serve time.

Now the asshole can start his appeals, which will most likely take his entire remaining lifetime. Justice, everyone!
