What The Fuck, America?

NEW COMIC TWO OR THREE TIMES A WEEK, OR WHEN THE MOOD STRIKES

It's worth noting once again that being within the territory of the United States without documentation -- without permission, basically -- isn't a crime. It's a civil charge, and it's a misdemeanor. I did a comic about it back in 2018. The American Gestapo is tearing people from their communities and locking them up for the equivalent of transporting water hyacinths or misusing Smokey the Bear. Merely detaining these people for an indeterminate amount of time would be bad enough, but also, because the American Gestapo is incompetent and/or doesn't give a shit and/or is just evil, the conditions under which they're detained are horrifying. There have been hundreds of human rights abuses across the system. In Florida alone multiple people have died in detention. Sexual assault is rampant, including children.

But, yeah, let's issue an executive order on a matter already settled by the Supreme Court of the United States to protect an object. An object which stands for, by the way, the rights of all people, even if the Republicans don't want it to.
