The press conference where Trump admitted he'd illegally authorized bombing Iran's nuclear facilities included Vance, Rubio, and Hegseth hovering in the background, and let me tell you, no group could possibly give me more confidence going forward. Nice to know the end of the world, whenever it arrives, will be shepherded by the most deeply unserious fuckwits the species has to offer. I mean, we know for sure there's no plan going forward because Hegseth didn't invite any journalists to an insecure channel to discuss it.

The parallels to the first term of George W. Bush have been striking enough that people are replaying footage of ol' Shrub from back then and it's really stunning to think an entirely different generation of Americans was stupid enough to think this half-witted bonobo could and should run the country. How we managed to find, twenty years later, someone angrier and more ignorant is beyond me.
