I guess today's young people haven't seen all those Vietnam War movies of the 1970s and '80s which make it clear enlisting is a bad idea. Maybe the recruits really believe in America and fighting for freedom and stuff. Too bad the American people elected an absolute moron who plugged in all his moron cronies, none of whom give a rat's tit about freedom or keeping sailors alive and happy. Hegseth is concentrating on facial hair, pushing women and people of color out of the services, and for some insane reason testosterone. Trump is...well, he's Trump. As usual his only response when asked about conditions on the U.S.S. Lincoln is "Nuh uh!" If only Hitler had known about the "Nuh uh" defense, we might all be speaking Deutsch.

Another wonderful part of all this is how this will convince people to quit the military or not enlist at all, so the next time a Democrat is in power, Republicans can lament the way the Dems have weakened the military,
