What The Fuck, America?

NEW COMIC TWO OR THREE TIMES A WEEK, OR WHEN THE MOOD STRIKES

The latest thing that Trump can't do but is doing anyway is rename the Kennedy Center to the Trump-Kennedy Center. This is after all the other things he's done and continues to do which he cannot do, such as dismantle the Deparment of Education, destroy U.S.A.I.D., change the name of the Gulf of Mexico, change the name of the Department of Defense, impound money duly appropriated by Congress, declare war on Venezuela, and any number of other things I don't feel up to listing.

Right on schedule Rep. Hakeem Jeffries gets up to say that he can't do that and then blather on about so-called kitchen table issues. I can't believe this guy grew up in Brooklyn. When the bullies of the neighborhood took off his glasses and threw them in the bushes, Jeffries must've given quite a speech about how that's not allowed before they pulled his underwear over his head. Is it possible to look more useless than when you get up in front of a microphone to claim that Trump can't do what he is in fact doing as you speak? Claim the legal high ground all you want, they put his name on the fucking building.

I'm curious, too, about the people performing this work. Minting plaques with disparaging, poorly proofread paragraphs about former presidents. Sticking gold letters on the White House wall. Tacking Trump's name up on buildings. Who willingly does this work? They have to know it's wrong. Are there people who refuse to go along? What price have they paid for their refusal? I want to know who they are, because, after all this is over, they deserve some kind of medal.

And I want to know who did go along so they can be shunned.
