What The Fuck, America?

NEW COMIC TWO OR THREE TIMES A WEEK, OR WHEN THE MOOD STRIKES

This doesn't fit with today's cartoon but I'm irrationally angry about this photo showing Trump walking by an American flag -- on one of his brand new White House flagpoles -- dragging on the ground. It's just so wildly hypocritical that the leader of the party that claims to love America and its flag would treat it so poorly (and in violation of the United States Flag Code).

I obviously don't place the flag over people; clearly anyone who would treat human beings the way Trump has would also mistreat the flag. Which brings us to the latest wrinkle in the seemingly bottomless Trump/Epstein Saga: Much to my surprise, Mike Johnson swore in Rep. Adelita Grijalva and thus opened the House so it could pass the discharge petition, which means H.R.4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act must be brought to a vote, demanding the release of all the evidence and whatnot gathered by the Department of Justice in its investigation of noted ephebophile Jeffrey Epstein. At the same time the House Oversight Committee released a metric buttload of Epstein emails showing, first, that the so-called elite of this country are a bunch of semi-literate morons, and, second, they're also all evil goddam perverts working very hard to cover up their crimes while continuing to commit them. Well, if nothing else, at least they're industrious. Anyway, there's a lot of gross stuff in there which would be damning, in a legal sense, I guess, if it weren't all hearsay -- maybe? I'm not a lawyer, I don't know. It certainly looks bad, but then Trump and the Republicans have looked bad for literally decades at this point. So I don't know.
