Stalwart Senator John McCain left his hospital bed to vote on the motion to proceed on Trumpcare. The irony of this isn't lost on anyone, but it's especially poignant given all the mealy-mouthed statements of sympathy from his putative opponents. When God Himself strikes down one of the biggest assholes in the GOP, you say AMEN, you ingrates.
More seriously, I personally don't wish pain or death on anyone. This is in contrast with McCain, who has yet to meet a bomb he didn't like.
The good news, such as it is, is that there are still a few more steps before Trumpcare becomes law.
