Sheep: Government is an adversarial process. Whoever wins gets to define the rules of the game. Goat: The vulnerable Trump administration just removed some of the diversity from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention budget proposal. Sheep: There is no objective reality. There's only power. Republicans create their own reality. Goat: A science-based hypothesis would be that Republicans are offended by the concepts behind terms like transgender and fetus. Sheep: Remove the words, remove the offensive ideas. Goat: An obviously evidence-based way of putting it would be that Republicans are assholes.

Continuing the slide towards outright fascism, today it leaked that the Trump administration has a list of banned words for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Republicans have long attempted to control science by controlling the language and the funding—remember the Dickey Amendment?—but these are some new depths they're exploring.
