NEW COMIC TUESDAYS AND FRIDAYS AND WHEN THE MOOD STRIKES
Bank profits are at record highs despite all our supposedly onerous regulations and yet one item at the top of the Congressional agenda is deregulating banks again, rolling back regulatory requirements put in place after the last big financial meltdown. Of course this deregulation effort is bipartisan and likely to succeed even though Congress seems incapable of accomplishing anything of substance in any other area. Why Democrats are on board with this is one of those mysteries for the ages. (Hint: Most mysteries of the ages are easily explained by MONEY.)
