The New York Times really did tweet that, which makes me wonder if the editors there are schizoid or merely stupid.
Accounts vary but generally speaking Obama's speeches were written at a higher reading level than Trump's, assuming Trump's speeches are written and not simply farted out of the nearest Republican butthole.
